I have just been appointed as a staff governor in October 2023 and I am passionate about making a positive contribution within our school community. I have been a class teacher at Framwellgate Moor Primary School for 5 years now and I have worked in several year groups, I am currently a Year 1/2 teacher (Penguins Class). As well as being class teacher I haven taken on the role of subject leads in various subjects – History, Geography, Phonics and PE.

I feel honoured to be a part of Framwellgate Moor Primary School and privileged to be a part of a child’s educational journey to inspire them to be the best versions of themselves, this was the main reason I’ve always wanted to work in education.
