I have been a parent governor since December 2023 and am looking forward to making a positive impact within the school. I work at Durham University in the School of Government and International Affairs where, as an Associate Professor of American Politics, my focus lies in researching and teaching about democracy, particularly campaigns and elections.

Having worked for nearly two decades in higher education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in both the United States and England. Now, as a governor, I am eager to bring my passion for education and my cross-cultural experiences to contribute to the flourishing community at our primary school. I look forward to working collaboratively for the benefit of our students and the school as a whole.
